The work

For decades, the Caribbean's best design has stayed close to home — worn by the women who live near it, found by the visitors who knew where to look.
That is the work of this platform: we go looking, house by house, for the few that clear a measure that does not bend — decades of proven craft, a design language of its own, pieces built to be worn for years, not seasons.
Most never make the page. The few that do join a roster we are building slowly, and on purpose — and what they make comes straight from their ateliers to your door. Dominican design, meet the world.
The name
A kindred paradise.
Paros is a Greek island that has meant paradise for centuries. Two islands, two paradises, one shared vocabulary — and under that name, Caribbean design travels from our island to the world.
Wherever an order lands, Madrid or Miami or New York, it arrives carrying a word that already means paradise there, in the language of the woman opening it.
The houses
The roster begins with Camila Casual.
Ready-to-wear made in Santiago de los Caballeros since 1986 — hand-drawn prints, cut and finished by the house that drew them.
A second generation now leads the design, and the fit is sharper than it has ever been — that is what forty years buys. Every house that follows will earn its place the same way.
Theirs to make, ours to carry
A house can dress its city for decades and stay unknown a plane ride away. That distance is ours.
Difference is the point
What makes a house unlike the others is the reason it is here. Nothing is softened to match a shelf.
